I Want To Say Thanks

When the skies were dark,

and the sun didn't shine,

you were there the entire time.

When I needed a tender touch,

and someone to hear my thoughts.

You were there with words of care.

When nobody was around,

and I gave you a call,

you were there through it all.

Helping me through the bad times,

and sharing our laughter in the good.

You were there like I knew you would.

I just wanted to say thanks for all your love.

Your prayers, your words, all the kisses, and hugs.

Thank you for keeping me high,

through all my worries and my cries.

Thank you for being a friend,

my family's love forever with no end.

Thank you that's all I can say,

I appreciated it in every way.
