This section is for poetry lovers. Yes, I love to write poetry so I will start off with one of my own.
Inside the misty blue
Though this seems strange
One heart to another
We have seemed
To have lost each other
Through the times of laughter
And times of gray
Through hardships unknown
We have become astray
I still look at you
Just the same
Beautiful blue eyes
Skin bright as day
My heart is yours
But yours, not mine
I have lost you
Overtime
I touch you with passion
You touch me with pain
And yet I still look at You the same
Is it crazy that my love runs deep
You done buried yours six feet.
See, I love to kiss you all over
While you give me the cold shoulder
But it's not long
That I don't notice you
Left my love on a shoreline
Along the misty blue
Muddy waters run thick
Just like blood
Especially if you are covered in mud
My heart is broken
It feels like my lungs collapse
Like I am dying from a heart attack
Lost in time, unable to regain
Trying to find the strength
It's not easy when you are in pain
And these weird feelings inside of you
My body is no longer mine
My soul feels out of reach
Is this what happens when your spirit is weak.
These feelings are lost
Have become untouchable now
They have been in the ocean,
under a cave
beyond the sea
away from me
Inside the misty blue.
